| Tuesday, August 12, Templo de Mexiquito, 7:00 Templo de Mexiquto is a beautiful, petite church a short taxi ride from “El Jardin”. (Located at what is known as ‘The Boys’ Orphanage.) The Altar space is light-filled and features one of the most stunning Virgin of Guadalupe statures in the city. It’s a perfect setting for La Catrina Quartet presenting from Joaquin Gutierrez Heras to Piazzolla. |

| Thursday, August 14, Monasterio de Nuestra Señora de Soledad,
5:00 Just a few miles beyond Atotonilco this church is set atop a hill offering beautiful views of the Rio Laja River valley. Built of stone in an historic style, the church’s interior is a near perfect setting for chamber Music. This will be the first time a concert is played inside the church and the first time the esteemed Miami String Quartet has played in San Miguel’s Chamber Music Festival. They will present Shostakovich and Mendelssohn. |
